WeatherBug App for Mac

We know easily accessing your WeatherBug information on all of your devices is important to you, so we’re excited to introduce the new WeatherBug App for Mac! The WeatherBug widget sits on the Mac task bar and automatically displays the temperature and any severe weather alerts, which update every 15 minutes, so you don’t even have to click anything to get basic weather info. You can access more detailed weather information by clicking the widget to expose the app’s home screen, which will disappear back into the tool bar once you click outside of the app.

With the WeatherBug App for Mac, you’ll get weather info like:

  • Temperature
  • Feels like
  • Hourly forecast up to 12 hours
  • Daily hi-lo temperatures
  • Conditions icon with short description
  • Live radar for the U.S.

Location Settings

When downloading the app, we’ll ask to use your location. By allowing us to access your location, you’ll be able to choose from the world’s largest network of hyper-local weather stations to get the most accurate weather forecasting from your local stations, rather than from often far-away airports. You can add multiple locations to their WeatherBug toolbar to check weather conditions at locations you may be traveling to as well.

If you’re someone who really loves following the weather and the science of meteorology, you can access more in-depth weather information by clicking the link towww.weatherbug.com on the bottom of the app. If you’re an active member of the WeatherBug community, you can also sign in on the app by clicking on the settings icon in the upper right hand corner.
