WeatherBug at the Little League World Series

WeatherBug is proud to announce that we’ll be at the 2014 Little League® World Series in South Williamsport, PA from August 14 through the 17th! Little League and WeatherBug has partnered together to develop the Little League WeatherBug app to help keep leagues safer from inclement weather, such as lightning, heat, rain and wind.

Available for free on Android and iOS devices, this app features Spark™, the exclusive WeatherBug feature that turns your phone and tablet into a personal lightning detector. Spark uses real-time lightning strike information from our Total Lightning Network to provide color-coded warnings for lightning danger at your device’s GPS location and other places – like your favorite cities or the field where the game will be played.

We invite attendees to visit our booth located in the Family Fun Zone, right next to the stadium, to learn more about this amazing app. We have fun games and prizes for visitors, and if you show us the Little League WeatherBug app on your phone or tablet, you’ll receive a limited edition WeatherBug pin!

Make sure you come early as quantities are limited and they will be given on a first come, first serve basis (limit one per person). Get the app in the Google Play and the iTunes App Store. Watch the new short video about lightning and weather safety and see the app in action!
