Thanksgiving Travel Forecast: Potential Problems

As families hit the skies, highways and byways for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, they will face adverse travel in the South today and along the East Coast Tuesday into Wednesday. Meanwhile a few slowdowns are possible in the Great Lakes early next week.

A winter storm pushing into the Deep South will take a run up the Appalachian spine Tuesday into Wednesday. Along its journey, a full gamut of weather from flooding downpours to heavy accumulating snow will slam the East. Meanwhile, a few snow showers will pepper the Great Lakes.
